Robert Kronz is the Chief Financial Officer of Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC).  SNC is a global aerospace and national security leader, with headquarters in Sparks, NV.  He brings over 25 years of progressive financial experience in the Defense industry.

Kronz is responsible for the company’s overall finance and business operations functions and activities including Accounting, Treasury, Financial Strategies and Planning, Pricing and Program Finance, Tax, Government Compliance, Corporate Real Estate, and Finance Digital Transformation.

Prior to his current role, Kronz held roles of increasing responsibility in SNC’s Corporate Office and also served as the Finance & Business Operations leader for ISR, Aviation and Security (IAS), SNC’s largest operational business area.  He has played a key role in multiple domestic and international acquisitions and spin-offs.  He was named SNC’s Executive of the Year in 2019.

Prior to joining SNC in October 2013, Kronz worked 17 years for Lockheed Martin Corporation in various Finance & Business Operations leadership roles across multiple business segments with a diverse portfolio of products, customers, and financial complexities.  He actively engaged in the development of finance team pipeline, serving as the IS&GS western region instructor for the Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP).

Kronz earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Virginia Tech, and a Master’s of Business Administration from The George Washington University.
